Delivery and notifications

Get the finished book by email, or just be told when something needs you.

Steps

  1. Open My account and find “Notifications”. Enter your “Email address”, then tick what you want to hear about: “A book is finished”, “A job has stopped and is waiting”, “The word quota is getting close” and “The licence could not be renewed”. The last two are only sent to administrators.
  2. Choose the “Language of the messages” and click “Save notifications”.
  3. To receive the book itself, fill in “Send finished books to” with a separate address, such as your e-reader’s or another mailbox. The book is attached when it is finished.
  4. Empty an address to stop what it receives. Downloading from the book’s page keeps working whatever happens to the mail.

What to know

Nothing is sent until the installation has a mail server and you have entered an address, and Libris Translate never writes just because a job started. The quota warning comes once per quota cycle, at 80%; the licence warning comes after 24 hours without a renewal. A book larger than 20 MB by default is not attached: the message says where to download it instead. An e-reader address usually has to authorise the sender first. Receiving a book does not replace reading its summary.

Fictional example

Use a fictional address such as reader@example.com for a demonstration, rather than a real reader’s address.
